food
Basics
A restriction on types of food, or times at which food can be taken, could be put in place. There are obviously endless combinations that can be used, but the main suggestion is a limit on the time at which food can be eaten. An early dinner is a significant restriction, causing an evening of thinking about the infraction that has caused the punishment. |
Complexities
Specific foods can be chosen. Especially not the ones most desired by the husband.
The husband could cook the Wife a nice meal but then not be allowed to eat the same.
Food can be given as leftovers rather than as a main meal, meaning the Wife has free choice on what is consumed off Her plate.
Warning
It is not suggested to limit the intake of water.
Reader suggestions
I also practiced a variation of the food restriction punishment where he was not allowed to order his own food when we dined out.
When the waiting staff would bring the menus, I would either directly point out that "he doesn't need one" or I would let him decide what he wanted and then order something else. It is quite humiliating for him to order the steak he wanted for myself and say something like "That is a wonderful choice, I'll have the steak, but we put you on a diet dear, remember?" Then turn to the waitress and say "My husband would like a green salad without dressing and a club soda"
Of course he would also have to watch me eat dessert by myself as well.
